So, devoting more money to search engine marketing and cutting your TV advertising budget allows you to be more effective.
Data should be protected
As a business, you will have access to lots of sensitive customer data. This includes things like their home address, bank details, etc. If this falls into the wrong hands, it can be devastating for both you and your customers. People can lose money and become victims of identity theft if you do not protect their data. Likewise, all trust between you and the customer fades away, making it harder for you to find new customers in the future.
Protecting people’s data should always be a number one priority, meaning you need to have a secure way of keeping it behind bars. However, you also need to think about data protection from an internal point of view. Your business has lots of valuable company data that other companies might be keen to see. Similarly, you need to stop this data from being lost or deleted. Protecting it with a solid backup program is key, alongside a robust cyber security system to keep out unwanted visitors.
In essence, these are the two key things to keep in mind regarding data and your business. It must be collected and analysed to the best of your abilities.
